Lasprecious Design is an art company located in the GMBB creative mall in Kuala Lumpur, specializing in ocean-themed art workshop and customization art project. It was established in 2017, and turning 9 years old in 2026. We reflected performance in 2025, art experience workshops emerged as our primary revenue stream followed by commissioned art projects.
Market Performance:
The growing demand for corporate team-building activities clearly reflected our visibility and among clients, Throughout the year, conducted 26 corporate team-building workshops. In other word, we handled 2 times of the teambuilding event a month. We discovered the key make this success is the mix and match art workshop item is attractive factor towards the client, the colleagues can choose their preferred item in the workshop session.
In terms of commissioned art projects, we completed three wall art pieces and one coffee table for our clients. Notably, one client commissioned a three-piece ocean wall art set to decorate their home. Each artwork was fully handcrafted using resin as the primary medium. The creation process began with carefully spreading a sand base, followed by pouring resin layer by layer to mimic the varying depths and gradients of the ocean. This insight highlighted greater market potential in commissioned wall art projects compared to furniture customization.
Creative and Milestone Moment:
We launched an original set of 5 postcards to sell in merchandise zone in our physical store at GMBB, its photo printed postcard, we captured the beautiful scene of the Tusan Cliff Beach when we travelled in East Malaysia, Miri. The initiative of this printing is to promoting the sea in Malaysia to visitor especially foreign tourists. Malaysia is surrounded with 4678km of coastline, we wish to promote the beauty of homeland with this small programme.
We got opportunity to prepare 50 corporate door-gifts of coaster for opening ceremony, it is a new trial for us to complete the project with 3D printing fisherman village housing miniature. Although we duplicate same design to all the coaster, the handcraft of spreading the sand base and the wave form make each coaster such a unique piece. We could propose the same idea to our future client to meet specific requirement regarding to the miniature.
In the December 2025, Lasprecious Design travelled to Maha Tower in Langkawi to participate as an art vendor in an event organized by Balai Seni Negara (National Art Gallery Malaysia). We deeply appreciate this opportunity, as it represents a meaningful recognition of our identity as professional artists. Resin art is not traditionally included in formal art education, and receiving a national-level invitation after years of dedicated practice was both affirming and deeply encouraging.
